What this bundle is

This bundle gives you a powered “always-on” node plus a portable EDC node so you can build real mesh coverage right away. Leave the plug-in node running wherever you have USB power to help strengthen coverage, and carry the EDC node for messaging on the move.

Firmware options (Meshtastic / MeshCore)

Both nodes ship flashed with the latest stable Meshtastic firmware by default.
If you want MeshCore flashed instead of Meshtastic, email nomadforgesupply@gmail.com after ordering.

Colors + custom text (personalized prints)

You can choose your color(s) and request custom printed labels:

• Text above the buttons (for BOTH nodes)

• Text above the screen (EDC node only)

Recommended limits (clean fit):

• Above buttons: max 6 characters

• Above EDC screen: max 3 characters
  Allowed characters: A–Z, 0–9, dash (-). No emojis.

Plug-in node configuration (kept simple)

The USB plug-in node can be used as a regular node or set up to extend coverage depending on your needs. It ships in a standard configuration by default. If you want it pre-configured differently, email nomadforgesupply@gmail.com after ordering.

Compatibility

Works with the Meshtastic app for configuration and messaging. Range depends on terrain, antenna choice, placement, and local RF conditions.

Safety + Shipping (Important)

Antenna warning

Install the antenna before powering on. Powering the radio without an antenna can damage the device.

Battery safety (EDC node)

This bundle includes a 3000mAh lithium battery for the EDC node. Lithium batteries can be hazardous if mishandled and may cause fire, injury, or property damage.

• Do not puncture, crush, short-circuit, or expose to heat/water.

• Charge only with appropriate equipment. Do not charge unattended.

• Stop use immediately if swelling, heat, odor, or damage is observed.
